Flintwood Disability Services was developed in 1999 and began life as a day program in 2000. It grew from an initiative begun by a group of dedicated parents and workers from Holroyd School. When Holroyd School was at risk of losing its day program, Flintwood was established to tender for the TRAILS day program. It was successful and began with its life as a single day program in Westmead.
Underlying everything we do at Flintwood is our goal to create and enhance opportunities for people with disabilities. We’re committed to working with individuals (and their families) and we support your right to be independent, and make your own decisions on how you want to live your life.
