The Circle is an initiative created by Flintwood to honour the strength and resilience of our people living with severe disabilities and who lack close family or peer support. It provides vital support to Participants who have no one to turn to or nobody to advocate for them during challenging times.
Many of the people identified to be a part of The Circle have lived in institutions for most of their lives or have had unfortunate accidents when they were younger, and this has sadly changed their lives dramatically.

The Circle focuses on individuals who have often lived in institutions for much of their lives or experienced life-altering accidents, leaving them without a traditional support system. Flintwood advocates for these individuals, ensuring their unique needs are met, and providing long-term support to help enrich their lives despite challenging circumstances.

We are committed to holding regular fundraising events where 100% of the profit raised will be forwarded to The Circle Individuals. This is your chance to help us give more, support more and give our people a brighter future. The more we receive, the more we can supp ort our identified people with their individual needs. There is a voluntary committee that meets monthly to discuss people’s needs, potential future fundraising events, and how best to ensure these needs are met.
Flintwood was established in 1999 when we became incorporated ready to start services in 2000. The Organisation was developed from a group of dedicated parents and workers of Holroyd School.
